I have an old HP laptop that has served me well for going on 6 or 7 years. With its 17″ screen and built in numeric pad, It is a unique antique these days. Still, it continues to serve my word processing and spreadsheet needs exceptionally well. I leave the gaming to the younger folk.
The battery just would no longer hold a charge. I am proud to say that it IS the original battery! I have had to restore the battery a few times using some tips & tricks I’ve learned from reconditioning batteries over the years. This time, It simply had given up the ghost. It certainly didn’t owe me anything.
The good news is that when I recondition batteries at home, I can do some tweaking and upgrading which results in “better than new” functionality, bringing new life to my trusted devices. They have treated me well, I return the favor. In this particular case, I was able to replace the battery components with upgraded parts.
